
Ron Antonette is an experienced consumer public relations consultant, a veteran of two global PR firms and creator of municipal, retail, tech, toys and travel communication campaigns. He also operates a research center at USC Annenberg for Golin chairman emeritus Fred Cook, managing programming, projects and student learning at the USC Center for Public Relations.
Ron’s experience includes grand openings and launch events for The Walt Disney Company, the Disneyland Resort, and The Venetian; leadership roles at Golin, FleishmanHilliard, Mattel and Conagra Brands; brand PR work for Nestle, Toyota, Cold Stone Creamery, and The Wherehouse; and PR campaigns supporting the franchises Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hot Wheels, Star Trek, and the original Earthworm Jim.
Ron leads travel marketing initiatives for Claremont, media and influencer campaigns for Playmates Toys, and is on the board of the Long Beach non-profit Partners of Parks. He served 8 years as a Parks and Recreation Commissioner in Long Beach, and continues in sports roles as a PA announcer and game official, and AYSO volunteer referee. He and his wife Cynthia are both USC Annenberg alums, and their two children are college students, including one at USC Marshall.
